Hey daveydee I am glad you are going to give it a try.I think its a great hobby and when your done you can make power.I am not sure what solder I used sorry.good luck have fun and be careful its addicting TAKE CARE

you have me convinced on solar. I bought cells this morning. they should be in buy next week ill put them togeather and give you an update. One question though, do you have to use silver solder or can you still use tin??
